Fun art and maths in January

Spoon Sound Experiment

Here are some pictures of a science experiment we did. We were learning about how sound travels. We used string, a spoon and a ruler to make a loud sound of a bell in our ears! Very cool!

Christmas Joy

Room 12 were in charge of shopping for the famous St. Clare's Christmas Hamper Raffle. We had breakfast first in a restaurant and then went to Tesco. We had shopping lists to follow and it was so much fun. We took a bus back to school and wrapped up the hampers ready for the lucky winners. Santa dropped in to our class to say well done.

Working hard at maths

We worked hard at maths today! Here are the pictures to prove it!

How to make a paperclip float like a boat!

We did a science experiment where we learned about a skin on the top of water that bugs can float on. It is called surface tension. Here are some pictures of a paper clip floating!

Look at these pictures of pretty shadows! Emily discovered how to do this with light and one of our sensory toys!
