What a fun, messy art project we are working on in Room 12! Papier Mache hot air balloons! Here we are at the start, using glue, newspaper and balloons to make our model. We will post up pictures of the finished projects.
After reading the poem, "Flying Machine" by Hilda Offen, we did a science experiment about streamlining. We learned that airplanes are built with a pointy nose on front. This helps them fly faster by cutting through the air and the design is called streamlining.
A huge, warm welcome back to everyone in Room 12. It is great to see all our pupils looking healthy and well after the summer break. We are so happy to be back!
