Growing Herbs

We planted our kitchen garden. Parsley, Lemon Basil, Oregano and Marjoram have begun their journey from little seeds into delicious plants!

Come on Ireland!!

We are following Ireland's progress in the Rugby World Cup in Japan. It's been a great start with Ireland beating Scotland on Sunday. We have all picked out teams to cheer on and will see who wins in the final on Saturday 2nd November.

Welcome to Room 12!

How lucky are we to have cycling lessons in school!






Papier Mache Art and Craft

What a fun, messy art project we are working on in Room 12! Papier Mache hot air balloons! Here we are at the start, using glue, newspaper and balloons to make our model. We will post up pictures of the finished projects. 





A Fun Science Experiment

After reading the poem, "Flying Machine" by Hilda Offen, we did a science experiment about streamlining. We learned that airplanes are built with a pointy nose on front. This helps them fly faster by cutting through the air and the design is called streamlining.
