What great cyclists we are!

We had a fantastic last day of cycling with Francis and Sean today! Everyone in Room 12 is well able to cycle now and we even cycled over some ramps today, it was so much fun. Now all we need to do is practise at home! It's great to get outside in the fresh air, be healthy and exercise! 

Hubble Bubble Toil and Trouble

There are some spooky things happening in Room 12. We have decorated for Hallowe'en and we are cooking up some scary potions!

Friday Fun

We work hard all week and earn Golden Time on Friday where we can choose fun activities. Here we are, enjoying Playdoh, computers and some Hallowe'en role-play!

Cooking Japanese Noodles

We have been learning about Japan because the Rugby World Cup is on there at the moment. We learned lots of facts during Geography but the best bit has been stir-frying noodles today! We used noodles, vegetables, chicken and soy sauce with a little honey. They tasted delicious. Yummy!
We practised eating the noodles with chopsticks like Japanese people would. It was tricky! Wendy brought in some beautiful chopsticks she received as a present. She told us that chopsticks are a good luck gift! 

Look at our beans!

We planted some broad beans and cress seeds back in April and now our beans are ready for picking! Here are some beans that came out of the pods. We might use them to sow new plants next Spring.

Growing Herbs

We planted our kitchen garden. Parsley, Lemon Basil, Oregano and Marjoram have begun their journey from little seeds into delicious plants!

Come on Ireland!!

We are following Ireland's progress in the Rugby World Cup in Japan. It's been a great start with Ireland beating Scotland on Sunday. We have all picked out teams to cheer on and will see who wins in the final on Saturday 2nd November.
