Today, we took a trip to Erica's Fairy Forest in Cootehill for our school tour! We took quite a few pictures, there was so much to see and do! Luckily, we were able to take a break, with our wonderful chefs in the mud kitchen cooking up a storm! We finished up with a picnic by the lake and chilled out! What a fantastic day!

The Pet Farm visits St. Clare's!
Today, Precious Pets Farm visited our school and at 10 o' clock, our class went to see all the animals. There were pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, a bearded dragon, a horse, a rabbit, a puppy, a snake and a guinea pig! We had lots of fun petting the animals and we all had our favourites. The guinea pig was called Rico, the rabbit was called Snowball, the puppy was called Nemo, the horse was called Shadow and the bearded dragon was called Lenny.

Sunflower Days.....
A few weeks ago, we planted some sunflower seeds. We looked after them so well in class, giving them water and putting them in the window so they saw the sun each day. They grew taller and taller! They always stretched towards the sun so sometimes we tricked them and turned them around but each morning, they were still reaching out to the sun! We think that's why they are called sunflowers.
They are now too big for their small pots so today, we replanted them in bigger pots with more soil so they can grow even bigger! We can't wait to take them home and plant them in our gardens!
