Happy Chinese New Year!!

Chinese New Year is the 25th January this year. We have been learning all about it in Room 12. It will be the Year of the Rat. We made cards, we used Chinese Take Away menus during maths, we cooked Chinese Chicken and we put up a display in the corridor with an amazing Chinese Dragon! Check it out when you come in to the school! 

Landscape Painting

We painted beautiful landscapes today, matching pictures we had chosen. We had to mix paint to find the right colours and try to continue the picture with our own painting and imagination. Here are the results!

Traditional Christmas Games

We learned about an exciting Christmas Game from Denmark. It was so much fun and we all got a prize!

Christmas Shopping

We were so lucky to be picked to shop for the Christmas Hampers for the Christmas Draw. We had a busy morning, having a yummy breakfast then off to Dunnes to buy enough food for 5 Christmas Hampers!

Breakfast Club
